The History and Impact of Vintage Michael Jordan T-Shirts

I wanted to share something special with you – the story of our very first design, the Michael Jordan shirt. This iconic piece was more than just a t-shirt; it was the spark that ignited my passion for creating golf streetwear.

As a lifelong fan of both golf and basketball, I wanted to merge the worlds of sports and fashion in a way that hadn’t been done before. The Michael Jordan shirt was my way of paying tribute to an icon while breaking new ground in golf fashion. It was the first step in making golf streetwear not just acceptable, but also desirable.

This design inspired me to build GC Golf Apparel, with the vision of making stylish, comfortable, and affordable golf clothing that can be worn both on and off the course. Today, I’m proud to say that we’re continuing to push the boundaries of what golf fashion can be, and it all started with that first design.
